This is the first room you will be dealing with. The Parlour is a basic ‘front room’ where 3 people can sit around a fireplace.

As basic as the Parlour is, there are still some nice features in this room. On the chair hotspots, you will find yourself able (if you have the necessary Construction level) to make ‘Rocking chairs’, which actually rock when you sit on them!

Bookcases in any room contain useful quest books from quests you have completed: simply browse the bookcase for a book, remove it and read it if you wish to remember parts, plots and histories of some quests.

It is also worth noting that the fireplace does, in fact, work. To light the fire acquire some logs and a tinderbox, use the logs with the fireplace and you will light the fireplace. The fire lasts for a nice amount of time before it goes out, and you will be given a small amount of Firemaking experience for lighting it.
