Construction - Throne Room

September 11th, 2006 by Eva

Introduction

When you achieve level 60 Construction, it is time to build a throne room for you to sit in and rule your house. The fun and challenges begin in the throne room, with the opportunity to build dungeon cages below it. In addition to this, the throne room contains the all-important lever.

Key features

Aside from the throne space to sit in and rule your house, there are some other interesting hotspots.

The floor decoration (with the higher level Construction items) can be built on to construct a fiendish trap for your visitors. Higher level traps can drop people into a dungeon (oubliette) below, or even expel them from your house!

The lever is an important item to have in the throne room. When pulled it will activate the trap in the floor, if you have one. Right-clicking gives the option to turn on challenge mode, or PvP mode. No items will be lost in either mode if you die, you will just respawn outside the house. The goal in challenge mode is to get to the chest in the treasure room if one is present.

PvP mode is the same as the above, except you can attack players in the house to slow them down. You will not be ’skulled’ if you attack other players in the house during PvP mode.
