Amulet Of Nature

The Amulet of Nature will allow you to track the growth progress of a farming patch that it has been attuned to. Amulets of Nature are player made and cannot be traded. To learn how to make an Amulet of Nature please refer to the Crafting Guide. To enchant the amulet after it has been crafted please see the Magic Guide.

Once you have obtained an amulet, you can attune it to a farming patch. The amulet will notify you whenever your planted seeds have progressed a growth cycle, fully grown or died. It may only be attuned to one patch at any one time.

Alternatively, if you want to check the progress of your patch, right-click the amulet and select the ‘Rub amulet’ option to find out the state of your crops.

For completing A Fairy Tale Part I - Growing Pains, you will be rewarded a pair of Magic Secateurs. This greatly help your farming skill and experience as when they are equipped, they will increase the amount of vegetables, herbs or hops harvested by 10%. Also if you wish to fight the Tanglefoot monsters, the secateurs are the only effective weapon, the damage you inflict with the secateurs is based on your farming skill.

Please refer to the Farming Rewards page in the manual to see which quests give farming experience.

Random Events

There are certain mishaps that can happen as a person spends time learning the farmer’s trade. These include tools breaking. These things need to be no more than a minor inconvenience. Tools are easily replaced and with simple preparation, most crops can be guarded against both disease and pests.
