The Secrets of Reverse Engineering: How to make 3 stat SEAs

Now I am sure everyone can figure out how to make a 3 stat skill enhancing attachment (SEA) no problem, but did you know you can do it without using 3 or 4 stat loot? This is good news, because some of that 3 and 4 stat loot is still worth a lot, especially jewelry.

Now for the secret…

What you need

• A crafter with the proper expertise
• A 10 point Reverse Engineering tool
• 3 single stat items (preferably with all +25 stats)
• 2 double stat items (preferable each one has at least one +25 stat)
• 3 modifier combos (i.e. 6 pieces of carefully selected junk loot)

Steps

Create your power bits

(Not to be confused with Power-Ups).

1. Create a 1st order bit. Take a single stat modified item and reverse engineer it. This should create a 1st order bit. Occasionally it will create a 2nd order bit.

2. Create a 2nd order bit. Take 2 single stat mod items and reverse engineer them together. This will create a 2nd order bit.

3. Create a 3rd order bit. Take 2 double stat mod items and reverse engineer them together. This will create a 3rd order bit.

Create your modifier bits…

4. Using known combinations, take 2 junk loot and reverse engineer them together to make the wanted modifier bits (i.e. Constitution, Strength, Etc.). You will need 3 modifier bits total to make one 3 SEA.
Putting it together…

5. Take the 1st order bit and one of the chosen modifier bits and put them both in the reverse engineer tool. Now hit Make skill enhancement. Bam, you now have a single stat SEA. But we don’t stop there.

6. Put the single stat SEA we just made and put it back in the reverse engineering tool. Now put the 2nd order bit and the next modifier bit in as well. Hit Create Skill Enhancing Attachment and snap, out comes a 2 stat mod SEA. But we demand more the people say.

7. Put the double stat SEA we just made and put it back in the reverse engineering tool. Add the 3rd order bit and the remaining modifier bit. Hit the Make SEA option, and finally, we have a 3 stat SEA.

I have successfully made a 3 stat SEA with 25 Con, 25 STR, 25 AGI and put them into a pair of gloves.

Very nice is all I can say.

Now before you go off reverse engineering everything you have, please know that the DEVs are looking into why things are not going over 25 per stat when reverse engineering. So give it some time while they figure things out. At least we now know that we do not have to use 3 or 4 stat items to make maxed out SEAs. Hope this helps some of you as I really enjoy this aspect of the game.

Also a side note from my experience thus far.

• 1 Single stat item =RE= 1st order power bit
• 2 Single stat items =RE= 2nd order power bit
• 1 Double stat item =RE= 2nd order power bit
• 2 Double stat items =RE= 3rd order power bit
• 1 Single stat item + 1 Triple stat item =RE= 3rd order bit

I think you catch the drift, but again, no need to waste 3 and 4 stat looted items.
