Congratulations again to Cebot Starwalker of Naritus and Kordell Lalee of Flurry for being selected as two of the SOE Players of the Year! Learn a little more about these players and their characters.
Cebot Starwalker
Forum Handle: Oracle74
Server: Naritus
Class: Smuggler
Level: 90
Cebot Starwalker was nominated by an in-game friend, who remarks on Cebot’s contributions both in game and out of game.
“Cebot and his extended family of “alts” does more for Galaxies’ players than anyone I’ve ever known. With several active traders, Cebot is always on top of the latest and greatest gear to outfit his guildmates, friends, vendors, and himself. He’s on Test Center whenever new game content is imminent; and readily shares his knowledge of the game with other players through chat, forums, and his website.
“Besides heading up the Bounty Hunter’s Guild, (player-made content for bounty hunters and those who sign up to be marks and/or informants), Cebot is on Senior Staff of RAID, a large rebel guild active in PVP and PVE content. He recently mapped out our city of Mos Quito, and almost single-handedly “healed” the city by directing guildmates where to place their new homes after the housing purge.

“All this, and Cebot still (and most importantly) finds energy to have fun in-game and BE fun to play with. He’ll bring whichever character class is most needed by the group, lead those who require direction, give kudos for good gameplay and constructive criticism for mistakes.”
Kordell Lealee

Class: Jedi
Level: 90
Kordell Lealee, who was also recently selected as a member of the Galactic Senate, introduced himself and shared his thoughts on the universe of Star Wars and his appreciation for the game community.
“For me, Star Wars Galaxies has always been about fun. I’ve been a Star Wars fan all my life and to be immersed in this world has been a dream for me. But then you add the element of other players, people who share the love for Star Wars, but at the same time are as different from you as different can be.
“The community is what has kept me in this game despite all its ups and downs. Through them, I’ve learned lessons about leadership, compassion, acceptance, forgiveness, tolerance, and loyalty.
“On any given day, it’s always my goal in-game to return these lessons I’ve learned – whether it’s leading my guild on zany adventures, helping out random new players, posting on the forums, or my personal crusade to stamp out double plurals from Beast Mastery.

“One of my favorite contributions back to the community has been my fan film. It’s been my way of giving back some of the inspiration, imagination, and humor that I have picked up from SWG.
“It’s a satisfying experience to play within a community where you have carved out your own niche that also reflects the person who you want to be outside the game.”
Thank you again to all players who sent in nominations for this honor. We look forward to meeting everyone at Fan Faire in Las Vegas!
