Why can’t/can I train on the dummies in RuneScape, like the ones in Varrock?

The dummies can only be trained on if you are very low/new level character. After you pass Attack level 8, you will find that you can learn nothing more from attacking them and that you must go and find some monsters to fight!

How can I calculate my maximum hit?

Your maximum hit is based on a calculation of 3 things:

• Strength - which can be affected by things such as potions
• Weapon power
• Strength boosting prayers

The exact conversion of these factors into a maximum hit is something which only our development team know and would prefer not to give out specifics.
