Edit: The patch has been completed 50 minutes EARLY.
The patch lasted for 3 hours and 40 minutes, and the game has opened at 2:40 am PST (9:40 am GMT).

MapleStory will be going through a patch on Tuesday, May 1st. The patch will last for approximately 4.5 hours, and users will not be able to access the game during that time.
