How long have you played Star Wars Galaxies? I played when the game first came out for about a year and took a break during my first two years of college. I just came back last month after my boyfriend and I watched all six Star Wars movies.

What other MMOs have you played? A lot! Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Dark Age of Camelot, EVE Online, Freelancer, Dungeon Siege 2… I’m probably forgetting a few. =P

What type of work do you do? I’m a student majoring in Management and Information Systems. I also work during the summer at a group home for autistic women.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing Star Wars Galaxies? I play at least 2-3 hours or more if we’re doing quests or PvP. Sometimes I’ll lose track of time and end up playing all night. (Come on, you know you do too!)

What does a typical Star Wars Galaxies day consist of for you? Right now I’m leveling my commando and trying to get my GCW points up. I’m also an elder dancer so when I came back to SWG, I first leveled a dancer to 90. I’m currently a level 80 commando and getting ready for some PvP action when I’m 90 with my awesome guild ROMAN. <3

What was the race and profession of your very first character? The character Shay is my very first character, which I created the day the game was out in stores. She’s a human female with pink hair.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most? I think I’ve always been a nerd. My first MMO was Asheron’s Call. I picked it up in the store one day as a random purchase. I really enjoying playing online with other people and tried out some different types of games like Civilization IV and multiplayer coop. After I broke my ankle about 4 years ago, I was in a wheelchair for awhile and it lead me into playing more games to feel better and help pass the time. My boyfriend and I also like to play games together with some of our mutual friends.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing Star Wars Galaxies? At my college I take jujitsu classes and I also like traveling with my boyfriend and my family. Most of the time I’d rather stay in than go out. I enjoy being home and watching movies or relaxing in the pool.

What is your highest character level in Star Wars Galaxies? 80! For now…

What race and profession is your main character? I only have one character named Shay, and she’s a human elder dancer/elder rifleman who is currently leveling up as a commando. She’ll own some Rebels in PvP one day!

What do you like the most about the profession you have chosen for your main character? I really missed rifleman, so commando was appealing because I could still use rifles, but now I get to throw grenades too, yay!

What faction is your main character? Imperial, of course.

What is your favorite player owned ship? I don’t know much about space yet, but I have a personal yacht that I think is quite awesome. You’re all invited to come see it.

What is your favorite ground vehicle? I love the jetpacks and my AT-RT, but nothing beats riding around on a big bantha.

How did you choose your main character’s name? It’s my real nickname. I know, not creative.

Which current professions in Star Wars Galaxies have you NOT played? Everything except entertainer and commando. I’d like to make a trader but I’m still re-learning the game and trying to make myself some money for pink Mandalorian armor.

What is your favorite expansion? I really like Rage of the Wookies. Kashyyyk is awesome! I loved all the Ryatt Trial quests. They were great relearning the game quests for noobs like me.

What is your favorite planet? I think Naboo is the prettiest, but I love the lava and mountains of Mustafar, and the big pirate ship looking things some lucky people have.

What is your favorite NPC? The miners at Mustafar who say weird things like, “Would you do a wookie?”

Which expansion do you like the least? I like them all but I don’t really use space that much currently. I would like to get more into space combat because I enjoy games like Freelancer and EVE Online.

Which planet do you like the least? Tatooine….Mos Eisley lags me.

Which NPC do you like the least? Chewbacca. He doesn’t say things you’d expect him to say from the movies.

What is the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? Probably 6 million 3 years ago for an ornate rug, lol. But I would really love a set of pink Mandolorian armor and will be saving, er, selling all my old black and white paintings, for that.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? My old T-21 rifle because I miss rifleman! Headshot FTW. I still have my old pets and some of my clothing from VICE, my old guild.

What do you like best about Star Wars Galaxies? I love the community and my server, Bloodfin. My guild ROMAN is awesome along with RMNT, JPE, VEA etc. I love the PvP on this server and the mass amounts of people who get together for base busts. I liked having an active guild who I can talk to on Ventrilo any time, any day.

What do you get out of playing Star Wars Galaxies? I get to enter a place that used to be only real to me in the movies. I also get to form new friendships with my Imperials and perhaps a few enemies with the Rebels. I guess I also get some enjoyment out of killing people in PvP. Am I the only one? Hehe.

Describe your best experience playing Star Wars Galaxies. Three years ago with my old guild, VICE, when we used to cross the river between our town and a Rebel town and invade the Rebels. It was all out PvP and I used to go prone on a hill and headshot everyone!
