Emoticons
Express the character’s emotions through emoticons in Ragnarok Online.
Press the Alt + L keys to open the Emotion Icon window.
You can add the different emoticons to the shortcut list. There are also keyboard shortcuts for the emoticons ‘Rock, Paper, and Scissors’.
‘Ctrl + -’ : Scissors emoticon
‘Ctrl + =’ : Rock emoticon
‘Ctrl + \’ : Paper emoticon
Press the Alt + M keys to load the Shortcut Keys window. You can assign different emoticons to each number and when the keys ‘Alt + Number’ are pressed, the emoticon will automatically be displayed.
Different emoticons can be added to the list using specific commands for specific emotion icons.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Use shortcut keys to conveniently access menus.

| Page Up/ Page Down | Scroll up or down while in the text windows (Mouse wheel can be used as well) |
| shift + click on characte | Follow a character that was clicked on (left or right click on character using mouse) |
| shift + click direction | Change the direction the character is facing to direction clicked. |
| Ctrl + Enter | Send a message to your party with this command |
| Ctrl + tab | Adjust the mini map’s mode (transparency off / on / no mini map) |
| Ctrl + v | Activate / Minimize Basic Info window |
| Alt + a, Ctrl + a | Open / Close Status window, Activate / Minimize Status window |
| Alt + q, Ctrl + q | Open / Close Equipment window, Activate / Minimize Equipment window |
| Alt + o, Ctrl + o | Open / Close Option window, Activate / Minimize Option window |
