Most of the Houses that were established to gain a better understanding of the universe began in seclusion, deep in the woods, away from civilization and closer to nature. However, there were Houses that did not seek spiritual enlightenment, but were created to simply to gain strength and profit.

As the number of these Houses increased, the number of individuals that sought spiritual enlightenment decreased and Houses began forming alliances with each other and with the landlords.

Soon, a large force was formed that was called “the Order” The individuals were gathered from Houses, the noble classes, and martial artists who clung to the tenants of the old martial arts houses. They repressed those who opposed or even refused to cooperate with them and called them “the Chaos”
