To start the Stormhammer signature quest there is a chest near the Queen chambers in Kaladim that is clickable but gives you nothing it is located behind the Halfling entertainers in a small alcove… well you think it gives you nothing it actually flags your character as able to pick up the quest starter located in the underwater cave near the waterfall in Kaladim. Picking up a book there allows you to add it to a collection which has 12 other pages with it. You must collect these pages throughout Kaladim.

Page 1: located in same room as the book
Pages 2-8: located in the center room in front of the Citadel
Pages 9-12: located in the mines

Once you have completed the collection go and turn it in to a collector for your respective city.

Greater Faydark is likely to be easiest one to get to from Kaladim.

After this you need to make sure you can speak Kobold as you will need it later in the quest. If you dont you can get the language quest from Langualogian Roosey in the Department of Gnomeland Security in Steamfont.

Next you will travel to Butcherblock to West Ironforge and speak to Commander O.C. Irontoe at (-202, 220, -117) He is in one of the towers at the entrance to West Ironforge.

At this point you will get the Stormhammer Signature Quest.

~The Stormhammer~

Step 1: Locate Stormguard Hall (176, 16, -105)

Step 2: Locate the Lower levels of Stormguard Hall

Step 2 and a half: At this step you need to go to location (196, 17, -95) there is a Grizzly rug on the floor that highlights. There is also sometimes a named in that room so kill it for AA exp if you like. Right click the rug and examine to get the quest “Burning the Black Sun Grizzly Rug”

~Burning the Black Sun Grizzly Rug~

Step 1: Go to opposite end of hall into the room on left and click the scroll at (166, 18, -91)

Step 2: Head to the other end of Kaladim by the Queen room at location (-101, 45, -99) and kill the Quaketail Brewers for updates they are level 65 heroics. You will need 10 updates from these and they do not update every kill… have fun with that Smile After you have those you need to kill Shrool Porters (there are 2 in the zone and they roam near the mushroom farm near the waterfall.) After that you need to get 6 updates from goblins in the zone. The best ones to do this is the groups in front of the citadel that stand around the rock piles.

After getting all the needed updates return to the Grizzly bear skin rug and burn it.

This completes the quest “Burning the Black Sun Grizzly Rug” You may need to do this quest multiple times because the rug needs to be burned several times through out the quest. One way to avoid this is to have the people in your group do the quest but only one person burns the rug. This way when you come back to burn the rug again someone in the group already has it. Trust me this burning the rug quest is a pain and you dont want to have to do it multiple times.

~Continuing on the Stormhammer Quest~

Step 3: Once the rug is burnt you will see a trap door where the rug was. Click and examine the door to update the quest.

Note: To examine the trap door you need to be able to speak Kobold. If you do not speak Kobold you can get the quest in Steamfont from a Gnome in the Gnomeland Security Headquarters named Langualogian Roosey. The language quest is called “Language of Dust.” Step 4: At this point after examining the trap door you are told you need to retrieve a key to the door. You get the key update from doing a ring event near the waterfall. There are 4 groups of kobalds they are groups of 4 or 5 kobolds. You will need to kill these kobolds to start the ring event. After killing the first group you will get a green message on your screen that you have begun your assault on the kobolds. Kill all 4 groups and you will get a new message and the 4 groups will respawn as slightly tougher mobs including some Kobold spirits. Kill those 4 groups in the same way and a new 4 groups will spawn as well as some other groups nearby of Ratongas.

This event has a chance to spawn a named mob called Reverend [insert name here] If he spawns do not kill him as you will need him to progress one of the steps further in the quest. Kill one of the other groups of ratonga and you should get the key update you need. If you do not get the update keep killing but do not kill the named. If the named did not spawn go ahead and complete killing the 4 groups that spawned to reset thte ring event. The event is roughly on a 2 hour timer.

Step 5: Have another member of your group burn the rug, Make sure to be invis, Click the trap door, and enter the Haunted Vaults instance.

Note: All members of your group must have done the “Burning the Black Sun Grizzly Rug” quest in order to enter.

Once inside there is usually only 1 named mob in there. Do not kill him unless you are ok with being locked out for 18 hours.

Note: This is VERY important for this quest…

Leave the room you are in and enter the hallway. Go in the second room to the left and you will see a red clickable chest. This will progress your quest.

Step 6: After clicking the chest it asks you to talk to 3 ghosts in this instance. Go back into the hallway and enter the last room on your right. There are 3 mobs in there one 1up, one 2up, and one 3up. Kill these and 3 spirits will spawn with feathers over their heads. Get a quest from each of the three invis then either escape if you can or Call out. There is no exit for this zone. You can also have everyone camp out and back but that can sometimes be a pain.

Note: When you escape or camp out and come back you will be in the Grizzly Rug room so either have invis or prepare to fight the spawn there. They aren’t much of a challenge for a good group.

The 3 quests need to be completed before turning any of them in. Mkae sure all are done before returning back to the Haunted Vaults.

~Remenance of a Traitor~

Step 1: Kill Iron Lord Kraxxakis, he is located on top of the building on the right side of the center area in front of the Citadel. To get to him climb the wall on the side of the building closest the entrance of the area. His place holder is “An Iron Lord” and his respawn is about 10min. Kraxxakis is a NIghtblood and his placeholder is a Minotaur.

Step 2: Kill the Reverand mentioned earlier in the ring event near the Waterfall. (You can kill him first if he is already up from spawning him earlier) Once again the ring event is on a 2 hour timer.

Step 3: Kill Picklord Ryjeka, he is located at the very end of the mine at the back of Kaladim. His placeholder is the Picklord that spawns there. The goblins around the clockwork have nothing to do with him. His respawn is about 15min. Just kill placeholders till you get him to spawn and kill him for update.

Step 4: The Avatar Ring event: There are 2 named you need from this ring event so you may need to complete the ring event multiple times. To check if the ring event is up go to the second room in the citadel where the Avatar of Serillis should be non attackable. If there are goblins standing around the avatar then the ring event is up…if no goblins you will have to wait till they appear. The ring event is on a 2 hour repop.

If the ring event is up go to the first room and kill the 4 2up Bugbears standing around the pool. After killing these you should get a notice that the ring event has started.

After the BUgbears kill the goblin in the water

After the goblin in the water head to the second room and kill the goblins standing around the avatar. (this is where the Chief Sculpter spawns if you are lucky and he will update your sculpter update.)

After the goblins around the avatar go to the third room and kill the mobs that are attackable in the center of the room

after those kill the mobs around the alter (This is where the King should spawn for your update)

After the alter mobs move back and kill the avatar for a chance at some good drops.

Step 5: (Cannot be completed till all the other named in this step have been killed and updated) Directly after doing the Ring event go behind the alter where the King spawns and there is a tomb that is clickable. Click it to spawn a level 70 3up that will give you your last update.

~Shards of the Eye of Stormhammer~

This quest is completed in Loping Plains

Step 1: You will need a gathering skill high enough to harvest in tier 7 for this step. You will need to harvest 12 items

1-3 are in the Wolf’s Maw (you can do this invis just keep an eye out when harvesting) Harvestable items appear as blue stones that glow. You need Fruit, Trunks, and Woodworth from this area. There are usually 2 of each item in the area.

Note: once you harvest the fruit all the of the fruit nodes will not show anymore and same for all the rest of the items

4-8 are located in Arkeleks Gash; Forest, Thorns, Trees, Blossom, and Nature are the ones you find here much in the same way as the step before.

9-12 are located in Breathless Hollow; Branches, Roots, Groves, and Leaves are the ones you find here much in the same way as the steps before.

~Refurbished Goods~

This quest will have you get random drops off goblins and kobolds in Kaladim. You will need 20 from Kobolds and 20 from goblins. Just keep killing till you get all your updates.

After Completing all 3 quests given in the Haunted Vaults you will need to return to the Haunted Vaults and kill the 3 mobs to spawn the 3 spirits to hail and complete the quests.

IMPORTANT! After getting the updates go invis and go back tot he room where the chest is. Make sure you click the chest and get the orders BEFORE you leave or you will not be able to get back in to progress the quest at all.

Leave the Haunted Vaults

Return to Commander O.C. Irontoe who will send you to Lesser Faydark procede to the area where Obelisk of Blight is… in this area there are some ghost dwarves standing around a grave of sorts, click the grave for an update.

Go to The Village of Somborn in Loping Plains and locate the grave for Loxtic the Troll it is located on the left hand side of the graveyard. clicking the grave will start a 9 hour timer so the next step will need to be hurried or the world will end and you will have failed to beat EverQuest II.

Turn around and hail the NPC with the book over her head for the update and the timer will stop. Grats!

She will tell you to find the 4 Masters. This step is in Mistmoore Catacombs where you have to find 4 clickable graves.

1: Lord Ghilanbiddle (-5.38, -123.70, 203.14)
2: Elimion Hendrys (-23.59, -130.33, 116.57)
3: Lord Sigan (-88.23, -123.68, -27.39)
4: Lady Nyriena (-70.38, -119.77, -96.03)

These graves are all located in the lower level of Mistmoore Catacombs NOT in the basement of Mistmoore Castle.

After clicking the 4 graves you are told to retrieve the Stormhammer from Xicotl which is a named mob in the Bloodforge room in the basement area in the top level of Mistmoore Catacombs. Xicotl is a Troll on about a 15min spawn timer and has a place holder which will be the only roaming mob in the room.

As soon as you kill him it updates your quest and you must return to Commander O.C. Irontoe in Butcherblock who will go through a script and will give you the Stormhammer.
