15 unique Classes in Vanguard

With 15 distinct class types to choose from, there is sure to be a class that suits your playing style. Be aware though, not all classes are available to all races - so choose wisely.

The Class Archetypes

The classes are divided into 4 archetypes; Protective classes, Offensive classes, Healer classes, and Caster classes. Each archetype has it’s own unique set of skills but also it’s own limitations.While Protective classes can take quite a bit of damage before going down, Offensive class characters can deliver crippling blows. While Healer classes can amplify other team mates skills or heal them when they are wounded, Caster classes wield fire, frost, arcane and other magical forces with deadly impact.

Whichever archetype you choose, you’ll find that teaming with characters of other archetypes to be rewarding and successful. While solo adventuring is possible and all classes are equipped to adventure alone, team play is encouraged and will mean more certain victory, greater spoils and more fun for all!

Protective Classes
