Vision Of Fear Access Quest Guide

June 27th, 2007 by rosehebe

Where: Feerrott - A pathing lizard named “Turtle” paths near the entrance regularly, so you just wait for him to show up.

Requirements: You will need Feerott access, you also need to be able to speak “thuzlite”, which can be obtained from thuzlite puzzle boxes that drop in Temple of Cazic Thule.

Reward: Access to Trembling Lagoon which has a 6-12 person entrance requirement and encounters lvl 38-41.

Why do the quest: Its a fun zone to fight in the low to mid 40s and it is very easy to miss out on until after it turns grey.

Steps:

1) Talk to Turtle get the quest. He paths between the entrance in Feerrott and the caves mentioned in the next step.

2) Find Rada Stoutheart aka “Red” near the shattered wizard spires. You can follow the zone wall to the left until you enter a cave/canyon, then, take the right hand fork to find the shattered spires and Rada. (loc: -120, 12, 182)

3) The druid ring is located on the west side of the first forested area of the Feerrott. (loc: 156, -10, 172. )

4) While in the same area as the ring, there are plenty of neophytes. Take your pick and kill one. They can also be found and many other lizard camps throughout the western parts of the Feerrott.

5) Within the ring of stones are some tents. Inside one of those tents are some bones, which when examined progress the quest.

6) The next thing you need to find is a red book. Like the bones, it is located within a tent at a lizard camp. Unlike the bones, it has several spawns locations.

These include but are not limited to:
21, -5, 507
-420, -6 680
-325, -4, 570

7)The next step is to find the Eye of Thule. He has a big temple located on the far southern yet center part of the first map. He also has a map icon on the map for convenient locating. You need to know Thuzlite to progress the quest any further.

8) Finding modinite fugitives can be tricky propositions. I found one at -431, -6, 667 and it gave me all the updates I needed. If you fail to find one there they are regularly seen along various zone walls, and near Cythan (related to FBSS heritage).

9) The final modinite is actually “an inquisitor prisioner.” She spawns at the lizard camp located at loc -703, 0, 875. you can recognize the camp by the rather large cages in the center. The prisoner itself is in a tent.

10) Return to the Eye of Thule.

11) Rallosian Allegants are located around the Tower of Vul which is located in the northwestern part of the second map. (loc -996, 0, 523.)

12) Return to the Eye of Thule.

13) The Four Broken Hands:

-253, -3, 694 - Near the Eye of Thule
-118, 1, 263 - If you follow the road from the entrance of the zone far enough, this hand is off to the left hand side.
-1012, -3, 841 - On the second map, there is a clearing filled with sand on the southern edge of the zone with spiders around it. The Statue is there.
-1285, -2, 464 - On the second map there is a marked lizard camp (marked as in appears on map) with a large lake north of it. This statue is located near the northern shore of that lake.

14) Entrance to the zone is where the river meets the northern zone wall north of the tower of Vul.
