We’re changing Hosters in early 2008
November 12th, 2007 by Amy
Following the recent DOFUS extensions, the growing number of players connecting to our game, and especially in order to improve our services, Ankama decided to change hosters.
After several years working with the same hoster, we are offering our service a better and safer solution. Ankama has grown and now wishes to work with market leaders capable of meeting our requirements and that of our players. Therefore, we finally decided to entrust our websites and game servers with an international hoster, renowned for it efficiency and for its great experience in hosting massively multiplayer online video games.
As soon as the change will take effect, we will be able to offer you quicker and more stable services. In-game lags will be considerably reduced, our websites will benefit from a better browsing quality, and we will be able to host more players simultaneously without the performances being affected.
This change is scheduled for early 2008, but we already have servers at our new hoster’s. Indeed, the heroic server beta will also be an opportunity to test our brand new hardware infrastructure.
